Mashaekh is an Anthropology major at Brac University. They have worked as a course assistant for an OSUN course titled Human Rights, Law, and Justice: An Anthropological Perspective. They are currently a student tutor at the School of General Education, Brac University. They have also served as a project manager for Paper Cranes of Venus, a project aimed at assisting the marginalized Bihari Community women.

Driven by the aspiration to keep learning for the rest of their life, they wish to join academia in the future. Their areas of interest include gender studies, queer studies, and cultural anthropology.
