Joseph Pal Char
My name is Joseph Pal Char. I am twenty-two years old. I am a South Sudanese by nationality. I am in Kakuma refugee camp. I have been in Kakuma for more than twenty years now. I am currently a student at Open Society University Network doing my Rheap program and Southern New Hampshire University in partnership with Jesuit Refugee Services where I am doing my Associate degree online. Before Getting this opportunity, I was working and still giving back to my community by teaching learners in High School. Working with Windle International Kenya in Vision Secondary School was one of my proudest moments. In additional to this, I was learning with International Rescue committee a medical course that allowed me to help in Hospitals, particularly the Amusait General Hospital as a medical assistant. This are a few of my proudest moments in my life as my dream is to be a doctor. Outside work, I love to play basketball, travel, adventure, football, dance, teach, and learn new things every day.
