Jacob Chagnon is a graduate student from the USA currently finishing his Masters in Public Administration (M.P.A.) at Central European University in Vienna, Austria. Having built an academic foundation in psychology and philosophy, his professional interests focus on sensible drug policy, and in particular the fields of harm-reduction and youth engagement. While his previous work was on effective drug education for youth, his current masters research aims to identify gaps in harm-reduction provision in Viennese nightclubs and broader nightlife.

After living and studying for four years in Abu Dhabi, he continues to follow key policy changes in the United Arab Emirates, especially regarding their approach to drug consumption and addiction.
