Gordon Hertel is a 4th year student at Bard College Berlin with a concentration in Politics and Ethics. His work is focused on international politics and urban development, and is currently writing his thesis with the working title: Global Cities and Autonomy: A New Form of Sovereignty? He will graduate this spring and plans to pursue a masters degree in global politics.
