Aria Rashidi
Aria is currently a graduate student at the Levy Economics Institute at Bard College in New York’s Hudson Valley. She was born and raised in Kabul, Afghanistan. She worked in the public sector, including the Ministry of Finance as a Senior Revenue Analysis and Policy Forecasting Specialist and the Ministry of Education as a Senior Research Officer in Kabul, Afghanistan. As a part of her academic and career, she has published papers about the “Effect of Education on Women’s Autonomy in Financial Household Decision-making in Afghanistan” and the ” Impact of Trade Openness on Unemployment: East, South, and Southeast Asian Countries.”
