Alina Kalachova
I am a researcher with a formal education in Critical Urbanism, European College of Liberal Arts in Belarus, and Architecture, Belarusian National Technical University, currently studying European Heritage at European Humanities University. Recently, I have complimented my research interest in Heritage and Urbanism with skills of civic engagement learnt from 4-year cooperation with human rights organizations. Last year, I have coordinated Summer School “Cultural Heritage and Future” at European Humanities University and 1 year Study Circle “Creative Tools to Interpret Heritage” at Nordic Summer University, which developed into a new 3- year Study Circle “Place of Heritage in Interdisciplinarity”. The focus of my activities is on involving people from non-academic environment into discussions with theoretics of heritage and relevant fields of studies.
