gobi desert

This photo was shot in the Gobi desert in the west of China. The man forgets where he
is, yet he can only exist in the timeless space. But no matter where he is, there are
always eyes looking at him. He is in his dream. He writes a poem:

The eyes of Dali are flying over the desert
Are there countless thirsty birds singing in the desert?

I didn’t see them
They must be hiding in the wind
Or drowned in the sand
Not leaving a sound, echoless
They must be hiding from me in flocks

Just as I am hiding

Others from seeing my tears and laughter

To fly or to fall?

I will resign myself to the sand like a bird in the desert
I know my fate is to sing a thousand sad songs before I die

As well
